BS by any name is still BS….
Within in the past few months, we’ve seen evidence by basher and pumper alike, who have worked tirelessly in their efforts to elevate and promote their particular “take” on the CMKX experience.
Without exception, our boards at times resemble a self sustaining virtual fantasy world of the on line gamers.
Lee Web is no exception to this observation. Before I comment on his latest post, I would like to point out the obvious power he and others of similar ilk have over some, with their redundant article / postings.
If you actually own pinkie stocks and have played the pinkies for a while, it’s not inconceivable that you have experience the highs and lows associated with the activity of the pink market.
Without a doubt you have experienced some very bizarre mood swings specifically if you own CMKX.
For some time now we have all been witness to changes taking place with CMKX. Some of these changes we like, while others we hate and still others, we are just clueless about.
But what is most disconcerting about any news or commentary regarding CMKX, is the spin placed on it by the various pro and con CMKXer camps.
It seems to be an accepted routine practice that once data is uncovered or announced, the data is subjected to some obvious and not so obvious fabrications, okay maybe just some really big exaggerations.
The purpose? Unknown exception to those hyping the news. No doubt the hype has one important impact, it adds to the already chaotic mindset some find them selves in regarding CMKX.
Often these spins are good if not elevated to a level of "wow." But most simply produce very little in the way of any real substance as to the activity of CMKX.
Still if you follow the news you'll discover it has taken on a new life and eventually turned into the poster for the mutual admiration society of those without a clue, who need to remain important in the eyes of their peers.
Guys, it does not diminish your intelligence and in my opinion, shouldn't’t diminish your status with your peers to simply say…”You know what ? I don’t have a clue, or understand where in the hell this thing and those in charge are headed with this stock.
There is an old saying…it’s better to be thought a fool, then open your mouth and remove all doubt.
Fortunately with the exception of some real losers, most on the boards are not fools and will eventually see through the hype and superfluous BS surrounding it.
I have often spoken about magical thinking. I would submit for those who are interested, that magical thinking is employed as a means to play upon your base emotions, for someone else's agenda of good or bad purposes.
Yet, even knowing this aspect of magical thinking, some are still drawn to these extreme posts and “jump onto that ride,” instead of reviewing the facts if any being presented.
Especially aggravating are those who are just serving their own agenda and are, for whatever reason, highly motivated to hype for good or bad an event by putting their own magical thinking spin on the “news.”
What I find hilarious at times, is they usually attempt to drag us into their fantasy by involving some secret plot, or agency that is thwarting the efforts of CMKX and us from moving forward, usually via some alleged “danger, conflict, power, and soul searching and or suffering” being endured by UC, to help us, the shareholders reach out ultimate goal of turning a profit with CMKX.
Much of what is being touted by various people on some boards has very little in common, I would assume, with any real CMKX activity or events that their postings are supposed to depict.
I recently read the posting (long one indeed) of Lee Web. Which was written to clarify for the kool aid drinkers and no drinker alike, the futility of reaming long in an obvious scam?
I do resent the tenor of his article and his added personal “insightful commentary,” which is obviously designed to be self serving innuendos, which he can point to at a later date and say...see it takes a crook to know a crook.
To that end, unless UC makes a bold move to turn CMKX around before 1 October 2005, I find UC rationale for hiding the truth a bit suspect.
One thing though, you can't argue with the way Web presents his "spin" through a systematic attention to detail of chronological events. Hell, if I didn't know better, I would assume he was being factual in his presentation.
I’ve been accused by some of flipping my position of CMKX, simply because I suggest using critical thinking in all aspects of one's life..including CMKX.
Nothing could be further from the truth. I’m just a strong today as I was when I purchased my first million shares a long time ago.
What I have been harping about for those who so glibly dismiss my often lengthy posts, and I have and will continue to take exception with, are the people who abuse the reader by posting hype and or bash about a a stock.
It would be simple to say that the Pepsi Generation morphed into the MTV generation and forgot to bring forward their common sense. But that is not the case. There appears to be a real effort to "dumb up" the American population.
While I could probably find and cite various studies regarding the changes made to our society and our culture in which fiction can now be made to look like fact, and facts are converted into believable fictions, I think it would be akin to signing to the choir where some are concerned.
Some would see it has having nothing to do with CMKX.
But for those of us schooled in the reality of life during peace time and war, we understand all to well how it is that those in the limelight, on the world stage actually represent and are pushing for, a transitory clueless culture, one in which we as citizens are immersed in a world of imagination routinely masquerading as some thing objective and real, which it isn’t and never will be.
I guess the best way to spin it, would be to use a long forgotten cliché that in the here and now, we are being surrounded by the bad guys, manipulated as willing puppets through magical thinking, to overlook their actions in order that we may reside in a new realm of "unreality, " an unreality kingdom not unlike Camelot of King Arthur’s fame, which seems to be slowly and methodically replacing the more traditional culture and real values that were here before and provided a basis for everything good that we enjoyed as a society.
It is, or should be the purpose of every person to seek out and demand where lacking, transparency and full disclosure not just on CMKX, but from everything and anything that routinely impacts us on a personal or business level.
Get involved and focused on what is real and what isn’t.
Right now, as a group with a shared interest, we are not demonstrating the attributes of an evolved advanced thinking culture. We have given up in our personal lives the right for self determination in almost everything we say, think or do.
This is a seriously sad state of affairs, when those of us who prefer to still think and be outside the box, find that the parameters and standards of the box we have tried to escape, is being blurred and expanded not from free rational thinking, but from a general consensus of the masses to accept apathy, fallacies and BS as the norm.
So forget what Web and others are saying. Forget the over used hype of revealed data and instead look at the facts, form an opinion and stick with it until it has been shown as correct or incorrect.
But by all means avoid accepting another person’s take on a given situation over your own opinion, especially when common sense applied to the facts of the matter will dictate the reality of the issue at hand.
