During his career, Mr. Frizzell has represented large groups of individuals in many types of litigation. In the late 1970's and early 1980's Bill tried numerous capital murder cases and was featured in the Houston Chronicle for his work representing indigent defendants. In one of his capital murder cases, Bill became the first trial lawyer in the country to obtain court permission to use a voice stress analyzer while questioning jurors during the voir dire portion of the trial.
In 1985 a large group of disenfranchised voters hired Mr. Frizzell to represent them against a city in East Texas that had incorporated itself through illegal voting methods. Texas Monthly ran a feature article about Mr. Frizzell's success in having an East Texas city's status taken away by the verdict of an East Texas jury. Mr. Frizzell represented a large number of women injured by the defective IUD manufactured by the A.H. Robins Company. Compensation for these victims was obtained after extensive work with a bankruptcy trust set up to award damages for these women.
Mr. Frizzell was a National Football League Contact Advisor from 1993 to 1995; Attended numerous Sports Law Seminars including the International Sports Marketing Conference in London, England. Authored Liability for Injuries Caused by Physical Therapists, Trainers, and Coaches for the Third Annual East Texas Sports Medicine Seminar in June of 1994. Former manager of top ten welterweight contender Ray Lovato. Former manager of top ten heavyweight contender Lionel Butler. Former Attorney/Manager of Raul Marquez, the former IBF Jr. Middleweight World champion. Litigation experience in promotional and managerial contracts and other boxing related matters. Maintains a general law practice with a concentration in contract matters. General Counsel to the Asia Pacific Football League.
